About the role

The Arpad Elderly Welfare Society Inc (the Society), which is responsible for the Arpad Aged Care facility in Wantirna, Victoria, is seeking expressions of interest from individuals interested to join its governing Committee as ordinary Committee members.  Those with previous governance experience wishing to seek a more challenging responsible officer role are also invited to express an interest.

As part of its ongoing commitment to high quality aged care, Arpad has embarked on a program to strengthen its operations and governance and secure its long-term future. In particular, we are seeking applicants with skills, knowledge and experience in the following areas;

  • IT

  • Human Resources (workforce development/IR Issues)

Those new to governance and board roles will be provided with professional development opportunities, including online learning, in-person learning along with coaching and mentoring. The professional development program is available to those who commit to joining the Arpad Aged Care committee.
